A
reas of Support

  • Advocate for local residential services for higher-functioning adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Create alternatives for supported, independent living, provide guidance regarding housing models, and share tools that are available to minimize out-of-pocket costs for families.
  •  Develop continuing adult education and personal development opportunities including social skills workshops, reading classes, art classes, and community events.
  • Promote good-health including nutrition awareness, exercise, meal planning, participation in Special Olympics and other sports activities.
  • Encourage Spiritual Development through Faith Friends small worship group, engagement with the church community, attending concerts, other special events, and outings.

Enrich for Life is working with community partners to expand residential choices for adults with developmental disabilities, to increase fitness and wellness options, to facilitate ongoing adult education classes, and greater opportunities for personal and spiritual development.
