Enrich for Life works to improve the quality of life for higher-functioning adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities connecting them to each other and to the supports they need, providing activities, special events, and outings helping develop their social skills, build friendships, hobbies, and faith.

Enrich for Life is committed to exploring appropriate, affordable, supported, community-based housing solutions for adults with special needs.

Enrich Events, Activities & Classes

Enrich Bowling

Inclusive bowling for adults 22 years and older is held on Tuesdays, May through August, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Franklin Family Entertainment Center. $8 per week, includes bowing ball, shoes. We have a great time! We are bowling, laughing, cheering, having fun. Gutter balls, strikes, and spares!

Faith Friends

This inclusive Small Worship Group meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, September - May, hosted at Brentwood Baptist Church. Art Classes & Activities

Inclusive acrylic painting classes are designed for higher-functioning adults, ages 22 and older. Instructor Pam Irvin is fantastic, and so is the artwork created by our student artists! Enrich House at Academy Street

Enrich House at Academy Street- Volunteer to join the remodeling effort, make a donation, sponsor a room. Located at 1314 Academy Street, the house is within walking distance of the Williamson County Public Library and Academy Park in historic downtown Franklin. The home will accommodate female residents with IDD. Residential supports will be provided in collaboration with a local provider agency. These ladies will enjoy being part of the local community!

Areas of Support

Advocate for local residential services for higher-functioning adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Connect individuals and their families to other individuals with special needs and their families, and to other inclusive programs and new friends in the community.

Explore and pursue alternatives for supported, independent, community-based living, explore appropriate housing models, and share tools to help minimize out-of-pocket costs for families.

Develop continuing adult activities, education, and personal development opportunities, including Faith Friends, bowling, bocce ball, art classes, movies, dining out, and other group outings.

Promote good health through higher nutrition awareness and making exercise fun with sports activities offered by Enrich, local parks and recreation centers, and other local non-profits.

Encourage Spiritual Development through our Faith Friends Small Worship Group, attending concerts, and special events during Christmas, Easter, and throughout the year. Engagement with the church community.
